Food has always had a natural ability to bring people closer together. A delicious meal can break down barriers, open hearts, and create moments of sharing and understanding. That is why the theme “Bonding Through Love” was chosen for the 2025 Cooking Competition—to give every team and every participant the opportunity to experience collaboration, companionship, and positive values through a shared kitchen space.
Throughout the competition, this spirit was clearly reflected in the way teams divided tasks, supported one another, and paid close attention to every dish they created. Every flavor and color combination told a story of unity, respect, and love among teammates.

Cooking Competition – Part 1: Creativity with Savory and Vegetarian Dishes
Each team was required to prepare two dishes: one savory and one vegetarian. This challenge tested flexibility, flavor sensitivity, and creative thinking. From traditional recipes to modern interpretations, the diverse menu created a vibrant culinary symphony that showcased each team’s unique culinary identity.
TEAM 1 – FLAVORS OF TOGETHERNESS FROM SAVORY & VEGETARIAN CUISINE

Team 1 delivered a warm and comforting atmosphere with two seemingly familiar dishes, elevated through refined techniques and emotional depth.
Their fried chicken with fish sauce was carefully prepared from the very first step. The chicken was marinated with Wine Food’s signature seasoning blend, ensuring rich flavor, natural sweetness, and a perfectly crispy golden crust. As the chicken emerged from the pan, the aroma of fish sauce blended with heat filled the kitchen, evoking memories of family meals and togetherness. This dish proved that with care and finesse, a familiar recipe can become the heart of connection.
Alongside it, the vegetarian young rib salad offered a completely different yet complementary experience. Light, refreshing, and pure, the vegetarian ribs retained a pleasantly chewy texture and were mixed with fresh vegetables for a harmonious balance of color and flavor. The vegetarian fish sauce—crafted using Wine Food seasonings—served as the soul of the dish, bringing all ingredients together seamlessly. This salad reflected a clean, mindful, and sustainable lifestyle.
TEAM 2 – SHARING LOVE THROUGH DELICATE FLAVORS

Team 2 opened with a creative vegetarian beef salad, combining fresh vegetables with savory plant-based “beef.” Light yet full of depth, the dish featured shredded vegetarian beef mixed with cucumber, Vietnamese coriander, fried shallots, and roasted peanuts. The salad was finished with a perfectly balanced vegetarian fish sauce—sweet, mildly spicy, and aromatic—thanks to Wine Food’s seasoning set. Each bite felt fresh, crisp, and energizing, like the beginning of a gentle yet meaningful story of connection.
Next came seafood fried rice, a familiar dish elevated through precision and harmony. Fluffy rice grains were stir-fried to a golden finish before being combined with fresh shrimp, squid, and crab sticks. Wine Food seasonings ensured a perfect balance of savory and sweet, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. The colorful presentation—yellow eggs, orange shrimp, green scallions—reflected the team’s dedication and conveyed a clear message:
When elements come together in harmony, beautiful results follow—just like teamwork.
TEAM 3 – A MODERN ASIAN TOUCH IN A WARM KITCHEN

Team 3 impressed with a fusion of Hong Kong-style cuisine and light Vietnamese flavors.
Their first dish, Hong Kong–style steamed tilapia, highlighted the natural sweetness of fresh ingredients. Lightly seasoned with Wine Food spices and steamed with ginger, scallions, and soy sauce, the fish emerged tender, juicy, and delicately aromatic. This dish demonstrated technical precision, as steaming requires exact temperature control to preserve texture and flavor.
The second dish, boiled vegetables with vegetarian fish sauce, was simple yet required careful execution. Broccoli, carrots, green beans, and baby corn were blanched just right to retain crunch, color, and natural sweetness. The vegetarian dipping sauce—made with Wine Food seasonings—was lightly salty, gently sweet, and perfectly balanced, enhancing rather than overpowering the vegetables. The dish symbolized simplicity, humility, and effective collaboration.
TEAM 4 – WHERE PRECISION MEETS CREATIVITY

Team 4 presented two contrasting yet harmonious dishes.
The first was steamed barramundi, prepared using traditional steaming techniques with precise timing. Seasoned with dill, scallions, pepper, and Wine Food spices, the fish was tender, fragrant, and visually elegant—proof of patience and focus.
In contrast, the Tokyo-style vegetarian roast duck showcased bold creativity. Plant-based duck was marinated with a fusion of Japanese and Vietnamese flavors, then roasted to achieve a glossy, reddish-brown finish. This innovative vegetarian adaptation retained richness and depth, highlighting the team’s daring culinary mindset and meticulous execution.
Cooking Competition – Part 2: Where Taste Sensitivity Takes Center Stage
If the main dishes showcased cooking techniques, the spring roll dipping sauce challenge highlighted finesse, palate sensitivity, and teamwork. Though seemingly simple, the dipping sauce is the soul of fresh spring rolls and determines more than half of the dish’s appeal.
Teams could choose traditional or vegetarian fish sauce, but each had to achieve perfect balance among salty – sweet – sour – spicy. Even the smallest miscalculation could alter the entire flavor profile.
Using Wine Food seasonings, teams carefully mixed, tasted, adjusted, and refined their sauces. The kitchen grew quieter—focused, meticulous, and collaborative. From gentle spoon stirring to quick exchanges among teammates, every movement reflected concentration and unity.
When the finished sauces were presented, their golden, amber, and light orange hues lit up the judging table. Judges smiled as they tasted—not only the flavors but also the dedication, creativity, and teamwork behind each bowl.

The “Bonding Through Love” Cooking Competition has come to an end, but its emotional aftertaste remains—in smiles, shared glances, and dishes crafted with sincerity. More than a culinary contest, the event became a space for connection, understanding, and positive values.
In that small kitchen, slices of vegetables, grains of rice, and drops of fish sauce became symbols of unity—where love grows from the simplest things.
Above all, the most valuable outcome was not just delicious food, but new connections, strengthened relationships, and deeper understanding. Together, we proved that when hearts are connected, beautiful things can emerge—even from the simplest kitchen.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful event. Let’s look forward to more journeys filled with love and inspiration.
